The Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the ancient city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on the banks of the Shipra River. It features the only south-facing self-manifested (Swayambhu) lingam in the world and is renowned for its unique daily Bhasma Aarti.
